 Throughout his journey from a large family compound in Nigeria to Long Beach, California, Isaac Nwokogba has allowed himself to be guided by forces bigger than himself, while doing his best to comprehend the hidden spiritual laws of the universe. His boyhood experiences included dangerous assignments during the Nigerian civil war and a struggle to continue in school, along with glimpses of traditional African religious practices and education in Christianity. While attending college in Oklahoma, Nwokogba found himself dragged into depression by racism. He found the will to complete his studies after achieving insight into one of his past lives as a slave owner. Another challenge consisted of not being able to find a better job than driving a taxi for several years. Yet he finally received an opportunity that corresponded exactly to an office he'd envisioned in a meditation. Isaac Nwokogba earned a masters degree in business from Southwest Texas State University and has spent years working as a rate analyst for utility companies and commissions in Texas and California.
